We offer both liquid and dry moss treatment applications to help kill off roof moss and/or keep moss from (re)establishing. Shaded and north-facing roofs tend to harbor moisture and when left untreated, are prone to moss issues. As moss absorbs moisture, it will expand and establish roots on your roof. When left untreated, shingles can lift and lead to serious water damage. With regular maintenance, our commercial-grade moss treatments will help avoid moss issues and kill off moss that has been allowed to establish a solid root system. In some cases, dead moss will then detach with the help of wind and rain. This is the best-case scenario for the longevity of your roof. In bad cases, several treatments will be required and moss may need to be professionally removed. The Moss removal process IS NOT included in the moss treatment cost, however, the cost (last treatment only) of our moss treatment can be fully applied towards the cost of a moss removal with our company if completed within 6 months of treatment. Many homes need regular moss treatments to keep moss from establishing/re-establishing. Preventive maintenance will save time, and money, and help preserve roof longevity.
Moss removal service with AWC Services includes removal of moss that can safely be removed without damage to the roof surface (85-95% depending on condition of the roof materials and how ingrown moss is to gravel or wood) followed by a moss treatment to mitigate any remaining moss not visible to the eye.

If home owner notices any new moss re-growth within two years of removal, please reach out immediately so that we can re-treat/address appropriately. *Warranty may be voided when not paid in full, roof surface is not regularly maintained (kept free of debris) and/or moss is permitted to fully reestablish.
